Iafrate Construction is looking for students who want to experience the world of heavy civil, site development, and road construction within the transportation, commercial development, automotive, and industrial markets. Be a part of our construction team encompassing earthwork, grading, underground utilities and concrete paving. Our interns will see the whole picture, working both in the field and office. Working with a mentor, you will assist in the day-to-day management of projects. You will learn and gain valuable experience to use throughout your career.

INTERN KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the following:

• Estimating and project management activities
• Review and understand contract documents, plans, and specifications
• Cost tracking, management, and forecasting
• Project schedule development and maintenance
• Production rate tracking
• Client relations
• Safety management and quality control

INTERN QUALIFICATIONS

• Be at least 18 years old with a valid U.S. driver’s license
• Enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar degree program
• Possess a positive attitude and be willing to learn
