Aisin Fowlerville Proving Grounds

This project included site grading and drainage for the construction of the test track through aggregate base, construction of berms and site restoration.

This large earthwork project involved moving 1,400,000 cubic yards, installation of 130,000 linear feet of storm sewer and underdrain, and importing and placing 480,000 tons of sand subbase and 250,000 tons of aggregate base, and 165 acres of greenbelt restoration.

A 200 foot precast 3-sided structure was constructed in order to access the test track. Special automated GPS grading equipment was utilized on this project in order to meet the tight tolerances.

This project was completed on time and on budget.
