The scope of work for this site in included the excavation and mass grading of approximately 150,000 cyd of earth for two new building additions along with two tunnels connecting the buildings and roughly 11,000 feet of utility installation. The project presented many challenges including long-term support of existing utility crossings using steel I-beams during excavation, a tight schedule and coordination with various other companies. These situations were dealt with in a timely and professional manner to the satisfaction of our clients.
