GM Bedford

This project was constructed within the limits of a separate ongoing PCB remediation project. The scope of this project included; continuous handling and containment of contaminated ground water in multiple 18,000 gallon weir tanks, excavation of 2 – 20 foot deep exit and entry shafts through bedrock, a 6 feet diameter 600 feet long tunnel drilled through bedrock, fusing of 800 feet of 48 inch HDPE pipe pulled through the tunnel with a wench system and grouting of the annular space within the tunnel.

Coordination between the owner, engineer, the manager of the ongoing remediation project and the many other subcontractors was the key to the successful completion of this project.
