Great Lakes Crossing

The scope of work for this project was to provide a suitable building site for the construction of a 1.6 million sft outlet mall. In the initial stage of this project, approximately 2.5 million cubic yards of material was moved in areas having cuts and fills in excess of 30 vertical feet. The next phase of the project was the installation of the utilities and infrastructure, which included over 65,000 lineal feet of watermain, sanitary sewer and storm sewer pipe. The third and final phase of this project for AICC was the on-site paving which included the construction of all parking areas, roadways and ROW upgrades on the existing surface streets.

This phase entailed the placement of over 150,000 tons of aggregate base materials, 70,000 lineal feet of concrete curb/gutter and more than 100,000 tons of asphalt pavement. Our corporate commitment to quality and the client’s demanding schedule allowed for a successful “on-time” grand opening for the Taubman Company — a mere 18 months from the turn of the first shovel of dirt.
