Providence Hospital Expansion

Project scope of work included site clearing and grubbing, installation of soil erosion controls and tree protection fencing to protect existing wetlands, installation of over 19,200 linear feet of underground utilities, cut to fill of 89,000 cubic yards including 30,000 cubic yards for wetland mitigation area, installation of 67,000 square yards of aggregate base for roadway and parking lot pavement, installation of 39,000 linear feet of concrete curb and gutter and 44,000 square feet of sidewalk.

In order to avoid delays to the start of the hospital expansion project, Angelo Iafrate Construction Company worked closely with the construction manager. Additionally, due to the nature of the project, constant coordination with both the construction manager and owner was required to facilitate employee and patient parking as well as continuous, safe access to the hospital entrances, including removal and replacement of the pavement located in the main hospital entrance.
